Steve,
I started this whole thing? All that I said was protect the fishery and release the bigger fish. My liberal views on fishing?? There are a lot more fishermen who think like me. Steve just because you are still looking for your big fish don't take it out on people ( like me) who have caught numerous over 40 inches. It sounds like the only reason you continue to go to this lodge is because it is the only one left that still allows you to keep these big fish.

Rich,
you are the one to blame about this entire issue. Do us all a favor and just leave. This site is for positive people and vacation experiences. If you want to dictate your liberal views on fishing, find one that suits you and leave this lodge alone.

Do you offer scuba diving trips to swim with huge pike, walleye, and sturgeon. If you don't I would be interested in guiding serious trophy fisherman for you. I could take people out to spear the fish and if the customer didn't want the fish we would simply release it.

Scott,
That is great to hear. It just seems there are quite a few pictures of people with 40 inch plus pike standing near the lodge. I know you can't control what people do, but establishing catch and release limits would be a great idea. I wasn't trying to start an argument. Steve just seems to have nothing better to do.

Hi guys, this site is not there to b**** each other, this is to make comments about the lodge and the great time people have. I am the manager of the Lodge I promote catch and release all the time so don't worry about the fish everybody even the french people participate in cathch and release so the lake can be full of fish. I grow up at the Lodge so I know what I'm talking about so stop using this site as a fighting room.

Parent Lake is a great place to visit and fish. We have gone there for 3 years and caught several pike over 40 inches and released everyone of them. I hope evryone gets to experience Parent Lake while it is still a good fishery. Steve if you get a hold of me I will give you the correct lures for catching these Big Pike.
