The Lodge at Parent Lake is located in the Province of Quebec, on Route 113, six miles North of Senneterre, 270 miles Northwest of Ottawa, 325 miles Northeast of Northbay, Ontario. All routes are paved. The road through La Verendrye Reserve have been greatly improved in the past few years. Bus,train and airline service is available. Car Rental service is available at the Airport in Val d'Or, 55 miles from the Lodge at Parent Lake.

Parent Lake is located on the southern edge of non-colonized territory. It is a long narrow lake, in the setting of evergreen forest with many white sandy beaches. It is one of the very few places where those who love the great outdoors can find the fishing and hunting which so many enjoy. There are also many small lakes, rivers, and streams nearby. Northern Pike and Walleye are predominant in the area, but there are other species.
