WEATHER AT THE LODGE
Finally! Spring has arrived. Rain has replaced the snow, and the
temperatures are rising. We are finally seeing leaves on
the trees,
and the tulips and daffodils are blooming.
For May, the average high was 50 Fahrenheit; the average low was 37.
We have not had any snow for the last 10 days, which is a
relief. The frost
is still coming out of the ground, so buildings are still shifting.
Some days the cabin doors close, some days
they don’t. For the next week
or so the times the high temperatures should be in the mid 60's and 70's
and not too much rain.
The Lodge at Parent Lake was named "Best Bilingual Outfitter" by the Senneterre area Economic Development Council at its 2002 Annual Meeting
We are very proud of this award and have the Plaque and Scot's
picture prominently
displayed in the Lodge Store
